I am writing you in regards to the child care assistant listed on www.edjoin.org. It is to my

knowledge that this program offers teen mothers the ability to complete their education knowing
their child is in a caring environment close by.

For the last year I have been involved in a ROP Careers with Infants and Toddlers program.
This program has helped me obtain the skills needed to work with children of a variety of ages
and various developmental stages. Through the program I have gained valuable experience in a
childcare setting and interacting with children from newborn to three years of age. As stated in
my resume, I am capable of childcare procedures such as supervising children, changing
diapers, sanitizing/cleaning, feeding, and interacting with the children. I am eager to
demonstrate my skills and abilities for you and your program.
