Perfume: The story of a murderer is a dramatic co-production film between

Germany, Spain and France directed by Tom Tykwer and released in 2006. The
drama is based on the novel by Patrick Sskind and stars Ben Whishaw, Dustin
Hoffman , Alan Rickman, Rachel Hurd-Madera and Karoline Herfurth.

It was nominated for five Saturn Awards at the 33rd Saturn Awards for Best

Resumen

"Perfume" is a story of murder and obsession set in 18th-century France. Jean

Baptiste Grenouille, was a man who was born amid the stench of the fish
remains of a market and abandoned by his mother in the garbage.

The authorities took care of him and sent him to a hospice. He grew up in a
hostile environment; Nobody loved him, because there was something
exceptional about him: he had no smell at all. He was, however, endowed with
an extraordinary sense of smell.

After working in a tannery, he got a job at the house of the perfumer Bandini,
who taught him how to distill essences. But he was obsessed with catching
other smells: the smell of glass, copper, but, above all, the smell of some
virgins women. As Grenouille's obsession turns deadly, 12 young girl are found
murdered. Panic breaks out as people rush to protect their daughters, while an
unrepentant and unrelenting Grenouille still lacks the final ingredient to
complete his quest.

Perfume is a good movie, but, the film failed to meet my expectations. That's
why I recommend reading the book. The book transports it at that time and
makes it possible through reading to perceive each of the smells. The words
were able to transport me to a world of sensations

"Perfume" es una aterradora historia de asesinato y obsesin ambientada en la

se rompe cuando la gente se apresura a proteger a sus hijas, mientras que un
impenitente e implacable Grenouille todava carece del ingrediente final para
completar su bsqueda.

Perfume es una buena pelcula, pero, la pelcula no logr cumplir mis

espectativas. Por eso recomiendo leer el libro. El libro lo transporta en esa
poca y hace posible a travs de la lectura percibir cada uno de los olores. Las
