Source: Rakeem N. February 3, 2017. (momjunction.com)
Equipment Needed: None.

Activity Description:
1. Assemble kids in class or outside.
2. Choose an it and ask the other students to line up horizontally.
3. Students must then freeze like statues.
4. The it must now try to make the other students laugh.
5. Whoever moves from their statue position (frozen) is now it.
Leadership Considerations:
Adolescence and children with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) have a
hard time staying focusing or being attentive, and being hyperactive or impulsive, which
usually negatively affects their daily lives. This game is useful because it teaches them
self-control and patience.
Also, as commonly mentioned, those with Autism, which is a developmental disorder
that impairs the ability to interact socially and communicate, can gain from this activity
because it focuses on interactions with others and watching different behaviors.
One way to make the game a little more interesting is to have whoever is it maybe
have a partner to act out a funny skit, or make the person laugh simply by telling jokes
rather than making funny faces or touching those who are frozen.
One way to increase the intensity of the game is to increase the physical challenge by
having students freeze in funny positions.
