Annual Meeting Minutes
March 13, 2017

The annual meeting of the Story Mill Rural Fire District Board of Trustees was called to order at 6:30
P.M. at the Bozeman Public Library at 626 E. Main Street, Bozeman, MT.

Persons Present: Trustees Dan Archer, Kathy Campbell, Tom Moore, Linda Willmuth and Les Jones.

Notice of the meeting was made by the Districts website (storymillfire.weebly.com).

Agenda Items

1. The Board approved the minutes from the May 9, 2016 meeting with one spelling correction of the
Secretary of Boards name from Lew to Les Jones.

2. Treasurers Report: Disbursements since last Annual Meeting as follows:

$97.14 for June 2016 Chronicle ad
$1,042.00 for liability insurance due June 2016
$26,693.62 to City of Bozeman
Account Balance $1,274.45
Revenue Collected $29,107.21
Account monthly balance = $1,400

3. Election of Officers:
Dan Archer Chairman
Kathy Campbell Vice Chairman
Linda Willmuth Treasurer
Les Jones Secretary
All Trustee terms are current.

4. Current situation on Contract between SMRFD and City of Bozeman There is no new contract with
the City of Bozeman. Contract is still being reviewed by Fire Chief. Dan Archer will contact Chris Gray,
attorney, regarding the contract status.

5. Open Discussion The next Board meeting is tentatively set for early to mid May to review annual
budget and contract update.

6. Public Comment - No public was present.
