Angle of Elevation: From Horizontal-Up
When you look up at an object, the angle that your line of
sight makes with a line drawn horizontally is called the
angle of elevation.

1. The angle of elevation to the sun is 21. If a pole casts a 19ft
shadow, what is the height of the pole?

of sight makes with a line drawn horizontally is called the
angle of depression.
