1. What general topic did you choose? Write down the general topic (provided in the list of
topics) and the narrowed down topic you decided to research.

Protest Music > Michael Jackson, Man in the Mirror, People equality of African
Americans.

2. How did you narrow down your topic?

On the top of my head I already knew what I wanted to do once I saw an option that I
knew I was interested in. One of the greatest artist of all time and one of my personal
favorites, Michael Jackson, has not only is his music amazing they also have meaning to
it. Songs that truly inspired many people around the world to change the world for the
best. In one of his song, We are the World a bunch of artist gather to sing a song to stop
hunger in Africa. He has also had many more that are truly inspiring.

3. What interests you most about this topic?

My interests about this topic is searching for music that an individual wrote/sang to make
I change. To me its history because there were some bad times and listing to the music
that were made during the dark times are just festinating.

4. What do you already know about this topic?

I know that this music is not just a song but it was an action. For example, in the hit, We
are the World they raised millions of money to end world hunger.

5. What would you like to know more about this topic?

I would like to know where did the concept Protest Music come from.
