The work of survey and investigation including preparation of Detailed Project Report has been awarded to M/s URS Scott Wilson (I) Ltd. The local people are opposing the construction Of the dam and are not allowing the survey and investigation works. Ahigh level team comprising ACS (Power) to GoHP, visited the Gyspa Dam site with effect from 23.06.2012 to 25.06.2012. In view of the opposition by local people, it . Was decided to shift the location of the dam further upstream, so that there is no gh submergence of private land and displacement of local people. After considering various ¥* alternative locations on river/nallah, it has been decided by HPPCL to construct two dams got «0+ 200m high, one on Bhaga river near Patseo and one on Jankar nallah, a right bank v , vibutary of Bhaga river.
