Sub: Drive test and RF Optimisation Targets for FY 2017-18.

With reference to above mentioned letter, it is communicated that the drive test and RF
Optimisation for entire city is to be done once every quarter for two cities i.e Bangalore and
Hubli-Dharwad which name population of around 10 lakhs and above. GM/PGM CM of circle
office should undertake drive test and personally monitor the RF Optimisation activities every
quarter for these two cities and submit detail report for perusal of Dir(CM)/CMD through RF
Portal, URL is CMTSQOS.BSNL.CO.IN.

The twenty four cities as per Annexure-I name population around one lakh to ten lakhs. For RF
Optimisation activities in these cities, necessary instruction should be issued to concerned SSA
heads so that drive test and RF Optimisation activities minimum once in every 4 months is
conducted. SSA heads shall be instructed to undertake drive test and personally monitor the RF
Optimisation activity for these cities and submit the report timely through portal.

Similarly for cities with population around fifty thousand to one lakh and for cities/towns with
population around five thousand to fifty thousand detail list should be prepared and suitable
targets shall be assigned to concern DGM/AGM CM of circle office and of SSA , so that drive
test & RF activity is done at least twice in a year for cities of fifty thousand to one lakh
population and optimization at least once in a year for cities/towns of five thousands to fifty
thousands population. Officer wise cities to be allocated and targets communicated before 30 th
April2017. Copy of the letter communicating the target shall be submitted to BSNL CO through
RF Portal.
