Christmas Worship in Square Hosted by Encounter

Lebanon, TN --- Come join the Fourth Annual Christmas Worship in the Lebanon City
Square on Christmas Eve, 2017. The historic square has hosted many events throughout the
years, and it is no doubt that Christmas Worship in the Square is one of the more special events
that takes place every year in the city center. The time of worship will take place from 5:30 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m. on December 24, 2017, weather permitting.

The pastors of Encounter Church, Mark Strickland and Charlie White will provide a
candlelight service including scripture reading, prayer, reflection, and Christmas songs.
Gathering next to the historic Lebanon cabin every year, the service has drawn several
congregations from around Wilson Country. The event is open to everyone that wishes to come,
regardless of denomination or church membership.

Christmas songs will be led by Charlie White and his acoustic guitar. Charlie White has
sung with Christian artists such as Michael Tait from Newsboys and TobyMac from DC Talk.
White is also the founder of Encounter Church, claims this event as being close to his heart.
Every year that we put this on in the square, we are just so amazed at the way the community
comes together to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Everyone is welcome!

Encounter Church was a church plant started in early 2011, meeting at the Roxy Theater
in Lebanon, TN. The goal of this church is to be a community of believers united together and
mobilized to impact our world from Christ. Meeting times are every Sunday at 10 a.m. at the
southwest entrance of the Roxy Theater.
