Emory & Henry College is celebrating Black History Month with a series of lyceum

events. Working alongside the new Inclusion and Dialogue Center, Director of Student Activities

Josh von Castle is organizing five lyceums for Black History Month in the month of February.

These lyceums include both film screenings and faculty lectures, in hopes of increasing student

interest. Von Castle wants to emphasize the importance of Black History at Emory & Henry.

We believe Black History is American History and although we celebrate it in one

month, it is something that impacts us all twelve months.

The next lyceum will be a screening of the documentary 13th this Sunday at 3 p.m. in

Wiley Auditorium.
