Step 1

Open JMP data file

Step 2

Click on the upper red triangle and Create New Columns

Step-3

Label the Column Name and Click OK

Step-4

Right Click on the newly created column and Click on Formula

Step-5

Click on Transcendental and select Root (you may practice the other functions as well)

Step -6

Select GMAT and click Apply and then OK

Step 7

Click on Analyze and Select the newly created column to get the distribution

Step-8

Click on the red triangle to display horizontally and fit the normal curve.
Step 9

To copy the results, click on JMP Home Window and click on selection

Step 10

You may copy and paste the results in a word document
