Intro (Focus of the day):

Daily Warm-ups
Expectations:
- When I am talking ball is to be held
o First warning ball is placed at feet
o Second warning ball is placed on bleachers
o Third student loses privilege of using ball
- Do your best
- Have good sportsmanship

Intro to Activity/Core:
Demonstrate/Explain
Foul Shooting (4/19 only)
- Students will alternate lined up for a foul shot.
- Alternating pattern of defense, offense, defense on both sides of the
shooter
- Two offensive and one defensive players are beyond the 3 point line
- Amount of shots taken varies depending on the foul
Students split into two groups, rotating through the lineup after taking 2 foul
shots

Closing Activity:

Full-Court Game (4/19 and 4/20)
- Students are split up into the pre-determined teams
- * If there is 2 teams, there will be one sub per team and must swap
out every so often. Everyone must sub in and out at least once.
- ** If there are 3 teams, there will be a team that switches in and out
- ** With 3 or more teams, the team off on the side must be ready to
go out on the court as soon as a team makes a basket.
- ** Whichever team makes a basket stays on the court AND
maintains possession of the ball, while the defensive team comes
off and waits until next points are scored.
- Game will begin with a tip-off
- Every non-shooting foul results in a 1 and 1
- Must pass to team at least 3 times before shooting

Objectives
P: Students will be able to apply shooting, the bounce and chest pass,
dribbling and defense together during game play.

C: Students will be able to describe the critical elements of bounce and chest
pass during intro to lesson.

A: Students will be able to demonstrate good sportsmanship towards partner

and opponents during game play.
