Kahoot is a free online game-based response tool that allows

students to actively engage in assessments. Kahoot sounds similar

to cahoot which is an American slang. It embodies cooperation and
engagement. This online platform combines games and class-
teaching, which provides an interesting atmosphere for students to
input and output what they have learnt. Teachers, students as well
as business people can take advantages of this tool to answer
questions and test themselves online.
Kahoothas great compatibility to answer questions, discuss and
survey via different kinds of electronic equipment, such as Mac, iPad
and iPhone. It can motivate students into active learners and
participants.

Disadvantages:
1 The test form is constrained to multi-choice and has to be four

choices for each question.

2 It can only be applied to grammar, reading competency and

listening comprehension.
3 Each question has maximum words of 95, and each choice 60. So
it is not suitable for long and complex questions.

4 Player cannot start the game until he finds a counterpart.

5 Although the system has a variety of languages, Chines is not

available.
