Animal Relay split class into 6


groups and have half of each team
lining up at opposite ends of a
rectangle. Teacher calls out an
animal and students must imitate
this animal travelling to the other
end to tag the next player in their
team. New animal once everyone
has been through. First team to
finish can choose the animal for

Hop-scotch each group joins

and are given 6 hoops. Aim is to
be creative and design a hop-
scotch course using the hoops,
including different forms of
locomotion (not just jumping and
hopping).

Routines and Performances


Divide the class into 6 groups and
spend 20 minutes creating group
routines, incorporating all skills
learnt in the past 5 weeks.
Aim to include at least one skill
from each DMP and at least one
apparatus/object.

At the end of 20 minutes students


come together and watch each
group perform their routine.
After each routine audience will
give a score out of 10 by putting
fingers up, and 1-2 students give
verbal feedback.
