1) First of all, could you tell us about the duties of the State Hydraulic Works?

Hydraulic Works. What are we doing? As the State Hydraulic Works, we are controlling both the pro-

people. We do not deny that chemicals are our greatest help when it comes to cleaning. However, we can not deny
the difference of organic cleaning products and the privilege that our lives will bring. For more naive, more natu-

Problem: Visually impaired people find it difficult to


find food on the iceberg, or they can spill food and
damage it

AMA: Projemizin amac grme engellilerin buzdolabnda aradklar yiyecekleri rahatlkla bulmalar-
n salamak.

OBJECTIVE: To ensure that our projected vision-seekers can easily find food they seek in the fridge.

Prolemimiz ile ilgili bir aratrma yaptk. Yaptmz aratrmaya gre:


1- imdiye kadar buzdolabunn kullanmn grme engelliler iin tasarlayan her hangi bir alma yaplmad-

2- Grme engellilerin bir ihtiyacn karlarken ne tr yntemler kullandklar ile ilgili bir aratrma yapld.

3- Yaplan almalarn neticesinde grme engellilerin ellerini dokunma duyularn kullanarak bir ok cisme
ulaabildikleri cisimleri dokunma duyular ile tandklarn tespit ettik.
4- Brialle alfasi kullanm konusunda Afyonkarahisar Grme Engelliler Dernei Bakan Mesut DEDEOLU
ile grme yaptk.
5-Mesut Bey'in de grleri dorultusunda yaptmz almalar ekillendirdik.
We did a research on our problem. According to our research:
1- We have seen that the use of the fridge has not been done for the visually impaired until now.
2. A study was conducted to determine what methods were used by visually impaired to meet a need. Our stu-
dents had a meeting with a visually impaired student parent.
3- In the result of the studies done, we have found that they know the objects they can reach to many objects
with the sense of touch by using the tactile senses of the blind people.
4- We talked with Afyonkarahisar Vision Impaired Children's Association Chairman Mesud DEDEOLU
about the use of Brialle alphabet.
5-We have shaped our Works in the direction of the views of Mr. Mesut

MADE WORKS
1- We designed to divide the inside of the refrigerator.
2- We prepared the appropriate compartments for this
design.
3-We have placed the compartments in the refrigerator.
4- We placed the product in a food block in each com-
partment.
5- We added a note to the door of the closet informing
us of the Brilla alphabet and the shelves where they
belonged.
6- We arranged the products inside according to
our note.
This project helped solve the problems that visually
handicapped people encounter in reaching food in the
fridge.
Note: This project we have done for blind and visually
impaired people can be used. Foods and shelves can be
kept stable so that they can meet the needs of the visu-
ally impaired.
