Standards Addressed:

or many of most frequent sounds for each consonant.
Blooms Level of Critical Thinking:
Remembering Understanding Applying Analyzing Evaluating Creating
Description of how to implement in the class: Students will have been working on learning
phonemes. Teacher will go over the lesson and do examples of putting objects into a category based
on the letter it is asking you to use. Teacher will model and then allow students to work on their own.
Teacher will take students to computer lab and have them work using Kidspiration. Students will be
asked to print their chart after it is completed. As students progress with their learning about
phonemes, we will be able to add more objects to it.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): For this particular lesson, the LoTi levels being
reached are up to level 2. Students are being given objects to place in each category. This could be
used as a higher level LoTi level if I was using this particular lesson with older students. That is
because they would be analyzing and placing things in the category and writing the sentence to go
along with the object.
Description of the sample BBPT file provided *: The chart that is provided has three different
categories and asks the students to find objects that begin with the letter that is provided for them.
The final product will allow the students to learn at several different objects in each category and be
able to differentiate between what letters each word begins with.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: I am adapting my lesson from the
Kidspiration software. I saw a lesson similar to this and thought what a great idea it is for these
young students just learning the sounds for each letter of the alphabet!
