The Batch of 2018 The 8th Batch of Chanakya National Law University is completely in keeping

with the tradition of the University in producing the finest minds and talented budding lawyers
catering the demands of next generation of intellectual stakeholders of the society. The Batch of
2018 has proved its mettle in the areas of academic excellence and has consistently brought
recognition and laurels to this University both in the National as well as International Domain vide
Publications, Conferences, Seminars, Certificate Courses, and also through awards in various
Activities like Moot Court Competitions, Model United Nations Conferences, Parliamentary Debates,
Essay Competitions, Sporting Events and Cultural Activities. By working under noteworthy
Advocates, judges, Think Tanks, Law Firms, Corporate Houses, Non-Governmental Organisations,
Baking Institutions and other such organisations, the Batch has accumulated invaluable work
experience to channelize it towards the progress and development of institutions that they are
soon to be a part of, thereby becoming assets in the Legal Fraternity. The Batch has played a
proactive role in the functioning of student bodies and has been pivotal in the organisation of
various events at Chanakya National Law University, The Students have convened successfully the
CLEA Mooting Competition 2014 (South) Asia Rounds, The P.A.Inamdar Contitutional Law Mooting
Competition, the 6th ,7th & 8th Edition of the National Parliamentary Debate, the 12th National
Youth Parliament Competition (Group Level), The Confluence Policy Debate Competition, amongst
other events in the previous years. The Batch also played an instrumental role in the growth of the
CNLU Law Journal and has excelled in various sporting events across the country, such as Cricket,
Football, Table Tennis, etc. Amply shaped and exhibiting an all round performance this batch is
aptly trained to employ its legal acumen and garnered knowledge to excel professionally. Our
vision is to emerge as creative, open-minded and technically sound legal professionals. We aim to
be one of those who can be agents of change in a constantly evolving society. We embarked upon
a journey 5 years ago to transform this vision into a reality, and we continue to look for
opportunities that would allow us to channelize our strengths towards this pursuit.
