ABSTRACT

Malaysias status as a developing country required the citizens to be proficient in


multiple language, especially in the language of the world, English. However,
Malaysians english speaking proficiency has not yet meet with the requirements of a
devloping country. The study focuses on finding the influence of using drama
activities in ESL classroom in improving secondary school students speaking skills.
The study involved a school in Kajang, with 23 students as the subject, with the data
collection process was done in 6 weeks using the quantitative method approach.
