Pride Letter

I take pride in a lot of things but the one thing I take the most pride in is

being a captain of my soccer team for three seasons straight. I take a lot of

pride in that because my team won the league two seasons in a row and

that takes a lot of work and dedication. It was the years of 2015 and 2016.

Those two years were one of the best years of my life and I wouldnt have

traded it for anything. My team and I got a long very well and being in that

team brought me a lot of useful skills. I am now better with communicating,

working with people, and have some experience in being a leader. It really

taught me to know when to take things seriously and when to straighten up.

It also taught me how to discipline myself and how to focus on problems

and to stay dedicated to that problem until I fix it. I have a big passion for

that sport. It builds character and brings joy to the ones who are into it. I

have met a lot of good people because of that sport and its always good

seeing those people around. Even though we couldnt have won the league

our last year, I still enjoyed what that sport brought me and what it taught

me. Finally, being the captain of my team, my coach focused a lot of his

attention on me and he taught me a lot, but the one thing I will never forget

is that he taught me how to treat people with respect even if they dont
respect you. Treat people the way you want to be treated, but if they dont

return the respect, focus on yourself and stay humble.
