ELA STAAR TUTORIALS

Dear Lamar High School Parent(s) or Guardian(s):

Now that the first semester of school is complete, our STAAR season is fast
approaching. In order to better prepare your child for the upcoming STAAR tests in
March, we will be providing Saturday tutorials in the area of English Language Arts
(ELA). There will be three Saturday sessions on : February 25, 2017, March 4, 2017,
and March 25, 2017. Sessions will begin at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. Students
only need to attend one. Reminder: Students will be required to attend Summer school if they
have not passed the STAAR EOC exam.

Space is limited, so please reserve a spot by filling out the information below
and returning this sheet to your childs English teacher.
