Communication is a process in
which participants participate in
order to reach a mutual
understanding, exchange
information, news, ideas and
feelings and also create and
share meaning. Communication
connects people or places.
In order for effective
communication to take place,
there needs to be a sender, a
message, a medium, a receiver
and feedback
Due to the rapid changes in
technology and
communication, people
have referred to the world
as a global village. This
means that people are
brought together, though
they are miles apart, by the
internet, telephone and
other forms of
communication. They are
able to talk to, see each
other, buy and sell with
each other, conduct
meetings and make
decisions much more
quickly that before.
