Phi Theta Kappa (2016, 2017): Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is the
international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs,
particularly community colleges and junior colleges.

Activities

Early Childhood Education Club (2015, 2016): I was a part of this club during my first
year at Carroll Community College and participated in several events.

Leadership Skills
Leadership Challenge (2016, 2017): The Leadership Challenge is a global campaign to
liberate the leader in everyone. I participated in several events to learn how to become a
leader.

Community Service Experience

Set up a Training Day for Educators (2016): The Early Childhood Education Club was
in charge of setting this up. We also had the responsibility of teaching a class to
professionals.
Volunteer at the Judy Center (2017): I provided childcare for parents who need
someone to watch their children while they take ESOL classes.
Volunteer at Head Start (2016): I helped provide school readiness for young children
from low-income families.

Work Experience
Camp counselor position for Westminster City Recreational Parks (2014-present)
Aide position for Carroll Childcare and Learning Center (2014-present): I work in
many different rooms with different age groups within the center.
