Project #3 Proposal

The argument that I will be remixing into three genres will be that of my research paper;

based on deforestation. My argument is arguing that deforestation is affecting our environment,

our daily lives, and the lives of many other living creatures across the world. The three genres I

am considering are as follows: an annotated timeline, a powerpoint, and a video. Initially, I want

to begin with a powerpoint to introduce deforestation. I will be discussing causes as well as

affects to hopefully open the eyes of the audience. After or within (have not decided yet) the

powerpoint, I will show an annotated timeline. I plan to show the audience photos of the

deforestation that has occurred throughout the years from the beginning. At the end of the

presentation, I will be showing a video to collect sympathy and shock from the audience as to

how important this issue is. I am still fiddling with the idea of a powerpoint and a video, but

overall I think that would best benefit me as a presenter and the audience. There is a possibility I

will want to do some type of genre that will be interactive, but I have not decided yet.
