Mission Briefing:

Thirty-one ESDs ago Trilon subsidiary received a short burst communication from
tantalum mining outpost SHF_50Y indicating a mining accident had occurred with eight lives
lost. Four risk management agents were dispatched to investigate the cause of the accident and
confirm the identity of the victims. Fifteen ESDs ago received a short burst from one of the agents
requesting high level interdiction and mediation of a possible biological contagion. Six ESDs ago
communication was lost with SHF following an anomalous signal of unknown and possibly alien
origin.

There are no biologics indigenous to LV: bacteriological, viral, or otherwise. Initial surveys
revealed no signs of life past or present. Wide-spectrum surveillance of the American Arm has
failed to indicate the presence of hostile actors, and intelligence assets do not indicate heightened
terrorist activity. Surface surveillance has revealed no activity at the base. Embedded Biometric
Signal Units are offline/non-functional for agents. They are presumed dead at this time, although
they may have been removed by hostile actors or saboteurs. Until it is proven otherwise, these
four agents are presumed dead. Corporate has requested confirmation of status and retrieval of
units. Body recovery is optional.
