Radiographic testing method using a Pantec x-ray tube and Varian x-ray unit. Utilizing
the radiographic inspection method on a wide variety of metallic materials such as
forgings, castings,tubing, pipe, fabricated and manufactured extrusion welds, and other
various parts.

Also experienced using a Iridium 192 source for field radiography of pipe
welds,pressure vessels, and storage tanks and establishing a2mr boundary andproper
usage of dosemitry and rate meters.
 Responsible for determiningthe proper x-ray units, focal spot size, and focal
filmdistance usingradiographic codes and specifications.

Experienced indetermining the typeand position of penetrameters to be used to qualify

theradiograph. Able toread and interpret film and compare specimens withdrawings
andspecifications. Also experienced in film processing anddarkroomtechniques.
