April 28, 2017 ‘To Whom It May Concern, | have the honor of providing a letter of recommendation for Marqui Felipe who is currently a senior at Buckingham Charter High School. | have been Marqui’s case manager for the past year and have found Marqui to be a diligent, dedicated student who always tries his best in all endeavors. ‘Marqui has a strong desire to attend college, and because his study habits are extremely refined, it belief that he will do well at the post-secondary level. Marqui has been involved with the Video Game Club on campus for the past three years. He is very dedicated to video gaming and has created games on his own which he is able to share and play other students. He has written vignettes which he successfully turned into a game. He is a very good artist and makes his own plush toys of cartoon characters which he sews by hand. This may, eventually, turn into a cottage business for Marqui. In9® grade, Marqui achieved the Honor Roll. In 10" and 11" grades her was awarded for perfect attendance. He is dedicated to doing well in school even though he faces some challenges, as ‘most students do. Marqui has a wonderfully supportive family which inspires him constantly to do his, very best at all things. This, | believe, will carry him far in the future. Marqui has volunteered at his church for the past 4 years, committing between 1-5 hours per week of his time. During this past year, and as part of his Service Learning requirement for high school graduation, Marqui volunteered at the Solano County Food Bank. This opportunity, along with his cchurch service, has assisted Marqui in developing closer ties to his community and serving those who are in need. | highly recommend Marqui in whatever endeavor he may choose to pursue.
