HUDYAT

I visit the Exhibit in the Nicanor Reyes Hall. The Hudyat Exhibit
represents the violation of human rights. The paintings are majestically done
and serve their meanings. But, my favourites are Mercy K Juan, One and
Panaghoy sa Kamalayan ng Kabataan. You can see the pictures above.

Mercy K Juan is painted by Manuel Billoso. I like how Billoso stroke an

art about people who are considered kapit sa patalim or someone who do
illegal things in order to survive. We have a few glimpses on what happened
or whats happening to them. I also like the peso coin on the eye part. It is
how he describes the worst means of people in covering the truth. They say,
Death will silence them.

One is the work of Art of Gabriel Gapay. The painting simply means
how disastrous a death can be. In the painting, you will see many people
helping their friend. All of us know that if some of our loved ones die, it will
really pierce our heart.

Panaghoy sa Kamalayan ng Kabataan is made by Christopher

Bautista. I like the painting because the evident colour and symbols used in
the artwork represent the flag of the Philippines. The Philippines, of course
represent Filipino. The Human Figure was chained and enslaved. Human
Trafficking was evident to the art that shows reality.
