1. What kind of educational software is used for student learning and for administrative use, as
grading, report writing, etc.?
a. eschool
2. Which software products do you find most effective in the teaching and learning process?
a. We use Stemscopes for science. I also enjoy the online subscription to Flocabulary.
3. Did you enroll in professional development classes to learn how to use the software? Or did
you learn how to use the software on your own?
a. One my own/training
4. How much time do you spend on teaching the students how to use the software products?
a. Very little.
5. Do you feel that there is a digital divide in your school or in the school system? Please
elaborate. If yes, do you feel needs to be done to decrease the digital divide or gap in schools?
a. Yes many teachers do not incorporate tech. They just need to be shown/supported in
its use. I utilize Dyknow to offer a digital warm-up complete with multimedia. I know I
am the only one in my district who uses the program that way.
6. Do you feel that technology interferes with teaching and learning in the classroom?
a. NO
7. What are your suggestions to improve the use of technology in the classroom?
a. Offer support easy to use programs.
8. What technological device would you like to have in your classroom?
a. A better smart board. Tablets.
9. Are there a lot of out dated systems that are still being used in your school?
a. No really, but we need to move to a one to one classroom.
10. What is a fun lesson plan that you have done in your classroom that only technology was
involved?
a. I use a lot of digital resources, but my students get the most kick out of using Kahoots
and Socrative for digital review.
