Dear President Donald J. Trump,

We are writing this letter to you to voice our concerns about your views on climate
change and protecting our environment. It has come to our attention that you do not believe
climate change is a legitimate problem facing every human being on Earth. This problem
continues to get worse and worse, and soon, we wont be able to do anything about it. Do you
enjoy to fish, Mr. President? At our current pace, sealife is being depleted at an exponential rate.
Over the last 50 years, coral reefs have been destroyed to a point of being unrecognizable. The
Great Barrier Reef is just about dead. In a few years, fishing will no longer be possible.

We hope to suggest some feasible solutions that everyone involved can agree on.Firstly,
we should shift our energy production to focus more on solar energy rather than continuing to
process fossil fuels. This would be a cleaner and more efficient route for us to create our energy.
It would also slow down the production of harmful gases into our atmosphere. Our next
suggestion is a carbon tax which would encourage businesses not to use an unlimited amount of
carbon. When the harmful effects of cigarettes were finally discovered, a tax was put on to
discourage to sale and use of them. Over time, this reduced the amount of cigarette users. We
believe this carbon tax will have the same effect.

Thank you for taking the time to read our concerns and we hope that you are able to
respond and meet us halfway.
