Multiplication and Division Triangles

Since we know that multiplication and division are related to each other, lets
figure out that relationship and practice our basic multiplication facts at the
same timeyou know what they say, two birds, one stone.

For every array you make, there are 4 equations using multiplication and
division. Dont believe me?

Heres an example

Step 1: Build an array, any array, using one colour of cusinaire rods:

Step 2: Label the sides of the array and how much it is worth. In other
words, write down the factors and the product:

12
4

3
12
4 3

Step 3: Youre almost thereusing the array and triangle, write down the 4
equations. Hint: all of the equations use the numbers in the triangle!

3 x 4 = 12 12 4 = 3

4 x 3 = 12 12 3 = 4

Step 4: SMILE, youre done, for now. Make another array and keep going!!
Multiplication and Division Triangles (Your turn)

Step 3: write down the 4 equations. Hint: all of the equations use the
numbers in the triangle!
