WORKING CAPITAL FINANCE

The funds required for day to day business/manufacturing activities are called Working
Capital. Trade and Service Sector also need working capital funds to run their business
operations. Working capital finance is extended in different forms and will include fund
based working capital finance as well as non-fund based (letter of credit / Bank Guarantee)
credit.

The fund based working capital is provided for purchasing inventory, receivable financing,
to meet operating expenses.

Under Non fund based facilities, Bank can sanction letter of credit facility for procuring raw
material or can sanction Bank guarantee facility on behalf of the customer to the suppliers,
Government departments etc.
