of teaching, they need to master their subject area. Learn, learn, and
never stop learning. Successful educators stay curious.

The best teachers are patient with students, and understand when
they are under stress or have problems with material. They do
whatever is necessary to get their students back on track, and are able
to recognize that everybody has bad days.

They are able to pull the best out of every student they teach. They
inspire them to become better students, to maximize their time in the
classroom, and to look towards the future. A great teacher takes an
interest a student has and helps turn it into a passion making
educational connections that will potentially last a lifetime. They
understand that each student is different, and they embrace those
differences. They teach their students that it is those differences that
often make them exceptional.

4. Respects students

In a great teachers classroom, each persons ideas and opinions are

valued. Students feel safe to express their feelings and learn to respect
and listen to others. The teacher creates a welcoming learning
environment for all students.

5. Good Communicator

One of the very important characteristics of a good teacher is their

communication skills. They should be a very good speaker. This
characteristic will provide benefits in several ways. For example:
1. If their communication skills are good, they can convey their
lectures with better skill and results.
2. If they are a good speaker, their class strength increases
automatically. People love to hear a person who can speak well
enough. There is always a shortage of good speakers in the world
