Ms. Gabrielle Raymond

Student Development and Educational Support Services
Tarrant County College, South Campus
5301 Campus Drive
Fort Worth, TX 76119

Dear Ms. Raymond,

I am writing in response to the job posting number F002154 listed on the Tarrant County College website.
I appreciate being considered for the Instructional Associate position. I am passionate about helping others
to learn and be successful in both school and work settings. I believe that my B.A. in Biology, coupled
with my experience in a laboratory setting at Texas Health Resources, qualifies me for the position.

My experiences at Texas Christian University, Tarrant County College, and Texas Health Resources have
given me strong communication and problem solving skills. I enjoy learning new material and teaching it
to other people. My teamwork skills learned at Texas Health Resources would find application in leading
study groups, working with professors curricula, and aiding office staff. Currently, I am finishing my
prerequisite courses for the Nursing program at Tarrant County College, and I am working on becoming
proficient in Spanish.

Furthermore, my background with self-managing workflow coupled with my creation of Microsoft Excel
and Word documents would be beneficial to teaching concepts to students. For example, I utilized Excel
to create a document that aided Anatomy and Physiology I students to learn antagonistic muscle groups. I
would apply my knowledge to devise materials that would address topics that students are having
difficulties in learning. My communication skills would be beneficial to those students that require
multimodal teaching strategies.

I have enclosed my resume for your convenience. I am excited at the prospect of working at Tarrant
County College. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss my qualifications for the Instructional
Associate position. My contact information is (817) 718-5838 or email me at
christine.mcbride@my.tccd.edu. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,

Christine McBride
