You both are very passionate about Eli and it is clear that you want him to be as successful as he can be. Here are some of my notes from the day, please let me know if you have any questions or need help. 1. Keep pushing Eli to be as independent at possible, when appropriate. For example, in art. He is able to open the markers but needs to be prompted to use that helping hand, Let him open and shut the markers for as long as he can, then give him the support He is able to walk independently through the hallways, and carry his own bag, Don't let him get away with telling you he is not! \ Eli is a smart little guy. He understands sarcasm and humor. While we do not want to be too stern with him, it is okay to hold him accountable. 2. Reading Intervention: During intervention he was given a level H text. | think it was probably stil a little difficult for him, but this was the second time reading the book and he was able to answer basic comprehension questions about the text (characters). | spoke with Jen about using organizers and other strategies to identify Text features, as well as story maps for the fiction text as well as incorporating some more writing about what they are reading during their intervention group. 3. Reading: © Eliismow set up with a Reading AZ account. He is under Mrs. Poland McMahons classroom. Morghan and Amanda both have the log-in information and are clear on how to get him logged in. | have set his start level at @ level E.
