SONG SOLO ANDUET CONTEST GUIDELINES

(FOR CCS STUDENTS: BSIT, BSIS, ANIMATION)

General Guidelines
1. The contest is open to all CCS Students.
2. Each year level should have two (2) representatives for song solo and two (2)
pairs for duet.
3. Recording artists and previous winners of song solo and duet in the past
Intramurals and College Days are disqualified to join.
4. Contestants must provide their accompaniment in a CD/DVD copy. No USB or IPod
shall be allowed.
5. All contestants must attend the general meeting on February 26, 2013, 2:00 PM
at Room 222. Submission of accompaniment ( CD/DVD copy ) will be on the same
date.
Criteria for Judging (Song Solo)
Voice quality (tonality, appropriateness to genre, & technique)----------------- 50%
Style and Performance (rendition qualities, discipline, timing
and precision, choreography, delivery & interpretation,
appropriateness of staging of song selected ) ----------------- 30%
Over-all Appeal(stage appeal, audience impact, & costume ) ------------------ 20%

Style and Performance (rendition qualities, discipline, timing
and precision, choreography, delivery & interpretation,

Over-all Appeal(stage appeal, audience impact, & costume ) -------------------- 20%
