African American Compensation Reflection

This is a very difficult topic because though it has been almost over 300 years since

African Americans were slaves theyve never been compensated for the time. In recent years we

say how Asian Americans were compensated for their time in concentration camps. They were

rewarded for around 25,000 USD dollars. And that was only after a couple of months of their

encampment. Though money does not compensate for the actions theyve done but its at least

something.

And many would agree that giving money to someone like that doesnt make the

problems go away some would discuss that no amount of money can right what was wrong so

long ago. So what is one to do about the matter. If money isnt the answer what is. I think that

some of the governments spendings to compensate for the African American community should

go to their communities.

To fund their schools their living condition to make them safe and to help them prosper in

life to receive and reach their maximum potential. Though we see very little work towards this

we should compensate African Americans in some one or to acknowledge at least that their past

has not yet been paid for and that theyre in the process of doing so.
