Reflection of Annotated Bibliography

When I was writing out my annotated bibliography, I was excited because I was able to

choose whatever sources I wanted or liked as long as they were credible. My writing evolved in

that I could conduct actual research effectively and lay all of my findings and summary in a

concise way. In the previous essays, I had a difficult time staying on focus and connecting each

paragraph to the other in a way that made sense. This bibliography was very different. I was able

to find sources that all connected in the end and were useful in the next upcoming assignment.

I felt that this artifact was my best and reflected some of my strongest abilities as a writer.

When I started this text, I believed that gay marriage is a human right and the Christian church

has failed the gay community. I believed that the gay community had a lack of religion because

of this alienation. After writing this artifact, I found out there are a lot of gay Christians and even

more people with spirituality. I now believe there is a way for the Christian community and

LGBT community to connect. My understand of the overall American Identity was

divisiveness and a change between generations. More people in America do not affiliate with a

religion which was not the case 20 years ago.
