Dear All School Principals

On Wednesday the 13th of September 2017, I will be holding a STEM

event in the Father Bucas Centre at Holy Spirit College. I would like
to invite students in year 4, year 5 and year 6 to participate in a
drone search and capture event. Students will be required to
register before the event and pay a $30 registration fee to
participate. The event will begin at 9am sharp with students
required to be there between 8:40am and 9am for registration.

Students will be required to work in teams of two (2) and complete a

search and capture task using a drone.

Students will be given the opportunity to listen to and ask questions

to David Phillips who will be conducting a 20 minute presentation on
flying drones and capturing photos.

Students will then be provided with morning tea before being

transported back to their schools.
