Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to introduce ourselves: our names are Zainab Rizvi and Harmony Kingsley, also
known as Ms. Rizvi and Ms. Kingsley. We have been student teachers in Mr. Reeses class for
sometime now and are loving every second of it! We are so grateful to be part of Edgewood
Elementary School and to work with your child.

This letter is to inform you that from April 24th-May 5th we will be in the classroom everyday. For
the science portion of the day we will be teaching the students about landforms and we hope to
add to their learning daily by teaching about different landforms and the processes involved
through a variety of ways.

As our final activity, we plan on having a C-18 national park adventure in which the students will
be working with a group to create a model of a landform they will be assigned, and brochures to
go along with their landform. They will be working on their projects on May 2nd, so we would
really appreciate it if you could help your child bring in materials such as cardboard,
newspapers, magazines, and other materials they may need. Additionally, we would encourage
your child to bring in a smock, as they may be working with art materials.

The presentations will be held on May 5th from 12:00-12:30pm and we would like to invite you
to be a tourist in our class national park and hear all about what your child has been preparing.
You will be able to walk around and learn from the students who will be the rangers as they
present information on their landform.
