How do the characters powers reflect the characters themselves?

All of the character superpowers reflect their personalities.
Simon is socially awkward, so his ability is invisibility, because
no one ever noticed him.
Kelly can read peoples mind, because she very self-conations
and cares about what people think about here.
Curtis can time travel, because he regrets about the past.
Alisha can sexual frenzy people who she is touching, because
thats how she appears to everyone.

Overall how are youth being represented in Misfits?

They all have weaknesses, even thou they seem quite tough at the
beginning, later on we can see that they facing different problems and
challenging themselves as every teenager does. So they all have
something in common when they look so different at the beginning.
