A growing issue in todays youth is the fact that kids may not want to wash their hands.

Some children dont realize the negative effects of dirty hands. Globally 141 tons of baked goods

are sold annually, according to Euromonitor International so this is where we got out idea to do a

bakery themed soap company. Adding delicious, bakery themed scents to our soaps. We believe

that mixing the sweet scents of baked goods to our handmade soaps can influence kids to want to

wash their hands. Not washing your hands can result in illness, and children are more susceptible

to illness. We are trying to help children stay healthy by encouraging them to wash their hands

properly and frequently.

The start up price for our soaps is $5 for any scent. We tested our soap by pouring

miscellaneous substances to our hands. We used products like chocolate syrup, honey, and oils to

test how well our soaps removed these substances from our hands and to see if the scent

remained on our hands after the test. We poured some of the substance into our hands and rubbed

our hands together for 20 seconds. Then, we washed our hands for 20 seconds and dried them off

to test for any leftover stickiness from the substance. After drying our hands, we also smelled

them to see if a scent was present on our skin.
