Conclusion:
Basedontheresultsofthislab,ourpredictionthatthetennisballwouldtravelthe
furthestat45degreeswasdisproved,astheballtraveledfurthestat30degrees,whichwas
surprising.Thiscouldvebeenaffectedbyhowtheslingreleasesatdifferentangles.For
example,at45degrees,theslingmightvereleasedtooslowlyfortheballtotravelasfaras
the30degreetrialdid.Thefastertheswingofthesling,themorevelocitytheballhasupon

questionabledata.Trebuchetsarenotnearlyaspreciseoraccurateascatapults.Thereis
almostalwayssomevariationinfactors.Progressingthroughtheproject,therewasone
majoralterationwithdesignofthetrebuchet.Atfirst,therewasnoweightrotator,which
causedtheweighttohavetofallinacircleratherthanvertically.Verticallyfallingweight
convertstheenergyoftheweightintothemotionofthearmmuchmoreeffectively.This
changehelpedthearmtomovefaster,andthus,launchedtheballfurther.
