I believe that impressions are a big deal, they affect how school is going to be.
Depending on how you have a first impression with a teacher can affect how they
grade, where you sit in class, and how they will treat you for the entire year. First
impressions also affect getting a job, because a stat says that the employer decides if
you get the job within the first 30 seconds of an interview, due to the first impression,
how you shake the employer's hand, how you talk to them, your posture, and just how
you act when you are around them. You can not turn back a first impression, no matter
how you act after that they will think of you the same way as when they first met you.
They also set the tone for a relationship for whoever you meet, whether it is a new
friend or someone you are planning on dating. You can never turn back how they think
of you at first so it is the most important thing to make it good.
