Rhetorical Awareness:

Your bibliography definitely explains your view and attends to its purpose. You use general

terms which pertain to any audience, especially that of a NY or LA Times reader. Your point of

view is a bit fuzzy, maybe your research question could be a bit more specific or more well-

rounded into your idea of opinions. What I mean is do the opinions determine the decision or do

laws? Just curious, because opinions can be a very vague subject.

Ethical Research

Your bibliography doesnt consist of any quotations, but your citations and in text citations are

excellently executed. You used a great source to include in your introduction. Also, your sources

are diverse and Im sure throughout your editorial, based on your annotations, you will be using

all of them to get your point across.

Support and Evidence

Your annotations are concise and clear. You specify what information each source includes and

then you clearly state what you will use that information for. Do you have a source for your

counterargument? Im not sure what that counter argument could be, so Im not sure whether you

had a source for it or not?

Organization

Your bibliography is very well organized. You have each heading specifying what will be talked

about. You have each topics information right under those headings and all of those topics

pertain to your initial idea or title of your editorial. Your annotations flow logically and are

relative like they should be.

Language

You use excellent language in your bibliography. It not only is easy to read to many different

audiences, but it uses great language for if it were in the LA and NY times. You dont have

biased or bigoted language; you have general and diverse language. Nice job; that can be a hard

task when writing a persuasive paper.

Design

Your bibliography design is exactly as it should be according to the prompt. You have all of your

headings, you have all the information needed for those headings, you stay in the word range,

and you completed everything as stated in that prompt. It definitely makes the paper easy to read

and understand, because each heading is stated and the information you gave for that heading is

right underneath.
