WORK TEACHING ARTIST FELLOW OMAHA THEATER COMPANY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
EXPERIENCE OMAHA, NE
AUGUST 2016-MAY 2017
9-month contract working as a teaching artist at the Rose theater in Omaha, Nebraska. Duties
include designing and teaching drama classes for students 4-18; formally writing up lesson
plans and syllabi for continued use at the Rose theater; teaching after-school programs for at-
risk middle school students; teaching school workshops and residencies, using drama to
teach curriculum such as readers theater and bringing history to life; work as the Teens N
Theater administration assistant, helping to produce all youth productions; help curate study
guides; perform in theater for the very young performances as well as metro tours.
