Why Should We Learn about Non-Verbal Language

Joe Navarro, former agent FBI, as special agent and supervisor in Intelligent Contra
and Behavior Analyst for 25 years, is one of the best behavior analyst that ever
known, he is one of the founder of elite team FBI Behavioral Analysis Program and
also as Chief of SWAT Team Commander and Bureau Pilot. In his book, he explained
that non-verbal communication is delivered by body movement, physical
movement, face expression, posture, body outfits, even intonation and voice
volumes persons. Around 60-65% of interpersonal communication consists of
nonverbal communication.

Researcher said that the person who could read and understand nonverbal
communication effectively and arranged how people perception themselves will
enjoy a succeed in their life compared with they who dont have this ability
(Goleman,1995, p. 13-92). In business world, our ability to capture what people or
our client, or even our partner are shown is very important. Not everybody said the
truth about what they said. As a businessman or businesswoman one of key to
success for transaction or dealing or negotiating is to understand what they actually
want to say or feel.
