I am writing this letter at the request of Amanda Nichols, who has worked
with me for the past two years at Scotts Ridge Elementary in various roles.

Amanda has a number of strengths Id like to share. She has exceptional

leadership skills. For example, leading the Scotts Ridge School Improvement
Team. Under Amandas leadership this team formulated and developed
goals and key process indicators using school wide data to write and
implement the Scotts Ridge School Improvement plan for the next two years.
I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda at several grade level
Professional Learning Teams. Here, Amanda oversaw the entire schools Tier
II Intervention plans for individual students. She oversees the entire schools
curriculum resources and assessments at each grade level, as well as entire
staff Professional Development.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Amanda Nichols. If her performance

in her current leadership role at Scotts Ridge is any indication of how she
would perform in a similar position, Amanda will be an extremely positive
