1. Why and how is the job market for administrative professionals growing or
declining? What effect do you think the economy and technology have had on
this field? The job market for administrative professionals are mostly growing but
in some areas of work they are declining. This affects the economy by creating
‘more jobs when it comes to technology.
2. What are some advantages and disadvantages of working in a temporary
position or as a virtual assistant?
‘a. Advantages: temp-to-hire, more control, and saves the employer money.
. Disadvantages: eam less money and frst to be laid oft.
‘3. What technical skills do administrative professionals need? Adapting to new
software, having good keyboarding skills, good at spelling, punctuation and
grammar.
4. Why are interpersonal and communication skils especially important for
someone in an administrative assistant role? You need to be able to get along
with other people, so that way your work environment is more pleasant and less
stressful.

Generation X because they are very open to diversity of race and religion. A persons
age affects the culture of the company you work for because as Generations grow so
does your knowledge in technology, making the workplace very different.
