Lebanese Butter Cookies (Ghry-Bee)

2 cups melted butter


1 cup sugar
3 cups flour
walnut halves
confectioners sugar

Mix cooled butter & sugar; cream well. Add flour (if too soft, add more flour until mixture holds its shape enough to be
handled). By spoonfuls, roll into egg shape; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make indentation in center of each cookie &
place walnut half in it. Bake at 350 until slightly golden, about 15 minutes. Cool, then sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
