A significant aspect of the third wave Mongol society was the battles

that existed under the leadership of Genghis Khan during the thirteenth
century between the years of 1167-1227. Through Khan, the Mongolian
empire could extend their territory from Caspian to the northern coast of
China. After thoroughly analyzing several scholarly sources covering these
battles for information to include on our website, our group has been able to
provide evidence for the history of battles that occurred during this era.
Genghis Khan was a well-educated man, Marco Polo would praise the
Khans. Genghis Khan would campaign against the Tartars, whom live east of
the Mongols. Genghis Khan was responsible for trapping and taking hostage
the chief of the Tartars. While Genghis following through the tradition, we
learn that he was from a family of blacksmiths and they powerful as well.
Marco Polo referred to Genghis Khan as an unidentified great leader. He was
about fighting and winning territory. During his reign, the Mongols went into
to debt because of the fighting and the expenses it caused, yet after the wars
were ending the Mongols came away with the Tartars territory and more. In
the Gobi Desert, there were battles that they had won as well for the territory.
Through the great Khans, the Mongols had swallowed many new territories
and peltro. Through the territories, they were able to extend the trading and
the empire, which in turn helped the financials that go toward the fights that
helped them win the new land. Genghis Khan was driven by his thirst for
riches and new land. He was constantly fighting and putting the Mongols
through torturous times so that he could expand the empire and receive
riches. Genghis Khan linked the lade sea to the Pacific Ocean because of his
thirst for more territory and to rule all the land.
He was a ruthless ruler, anyone who would go up against him would
be killed. He was known as the supreme leader as well as the prince of all
territories that lay between the oceans. He knew that china was in troubling
times and took advantage of it. When this was done he has was took over the
Tangut Xi Xia Kingdom. Then he went for the Jing Empire capital, which is
todays Beijing. Those have fallen to his command, he needed more. Genghis
Khan then set forth to the new Islamic Empire, Horesm. He took over the
important cities that surrounded the Caspian Sea. He made his way to the
Black sea as well. He was a cruel leader and took over parts of Russia. When
people would talk about the Mongols reputation, they were becoming known
for terrifying and crazy. They were uncontrollable.
Even though he was becoming well known for his unusual tactics and
thirst to rule, he was also a smart man because he knew when to attack and
how to address each new place accordingly. He was a smart man who was
driven by ruling any land he stepped foot on.
